Anne and Lisa get a grant
Whoo Hoo! We're going to Italy on a Fund For Teachers grant! We leave May 30th. Check out the Fund For Teachers site under "Links",
We arrive in Rome on May 31st at 10:45am. We will stay in Rome for four nights and leave late in the evening on June 4th.
In the evening, June the 4th, we will take Eurostar/trenitalia (fast train, about 2 hrs) to Florence where we will stay for six nights. This is where we will be able to slow the pace down, wash our clothes, take in the locals and hold down a chair for a bit.
On June the 10th we will travel again by fast train (about two and a half hours) to Venice where we will be until the conclusion of our trip on June 14th.
We will arrive back in Houston on June 14th at 7:35pm.
